Learn about the history of paper, how to make and decorate your own paper, and various ways to creatively use paper. Students will use their papers to create a handmade book, paper sculpture, and greeting cards, among other projects. This six-week class will be packed full of fun!

Some of the activities will be centered around famous artists, while others might focus on multi-cultural art, art history, or material exploration. The children will be encouraged to express themselves while following certain guidelines in each project.

During this six week session, preschoolers will be given the opportunity to explore and experiment with a variety of materials through structured art projects. Children will experiment with materials in drawing, painting, cutting and gluing, and clay, while learning about the world of art.
